Do figurativo ao figural: uma reflexão sobre a figura em Francis Bacon e Ryan

Resumo
O objetivo deste artigo é investigar em que medida Francis Bacon, na sua luta para escapar à representação e ao figurativismo, influencia na estética do documentário animado “Ryan”, de Chris Landreth. Para fazer esta reflexão vamos analisar os procedimentos de Francis Bacon a partir de alguns aspectos do livro “A Lógica da Sensação”, um estudo da obra do pintor realizado por Gilles Deleuze, que também encontra em Bacon um aliado para reafirmar suas idéias contra a representação figurativa.

Abstract
The objective of this paper is to investigate to what extent Francis Bacon, in his fight to escape representation and the figurativism, influences aesthetics in the animated documentary “Ryan”, by Chris Landreth. In order to conduct this discussion we have analysed Francis Bacon’s procedures taken from some aspects of the book “The Logic of Feeling”. The latter consists of a study of the work of the painter conducted by Gilles Deleuze, which also finds an ally in Bacon to reaffirm his ideas against figurative representation .
